(St. Petersburg, FL) September 22, 2015 – To address recent rumors regarding the move of our St. Petersburg location at 3251 3rd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713:
“Metro is not moving. If and when we choose to move from this location, we will certainly be the first to let our clients and the community know.”
Metro was founded in 1993 and serves the Tampa Bay community with locations in Tampa, St. Petersburg and New Port Richey. The organization provides HIV services, prevention and education, HIV Testing, HIV Medical Care, LGBT Community Center programs and services, Counseling, Psychiatric Meds Management and Services, Primary Care, nPEP and PrEP, STD Testing and Treatment, Youth Services, Older Adult Programs and Support Services, Trans Health, HRT, and support; and operates the METRO Thrift and Gift and LGBT Welcome Center on Central Avenue. Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project is celebrating its 13-Year Anniversary with their
Annual “Prelude to Pride” salute with an original production of that time honored classic,
“PETER PANNED”.
T. Scott Wooten has created a hilarious and naughty sendup of the fabled classic. On
Monday, June 15th and Monday June 22, SATP will present “PETER PANNED” the
story of a boy who won’t grow up and a sea weary Pirate Captain named Hook that
tries but can’t hold him down! And the ever threatening crocodile. Along with Wendy
Darling who wonders what happen to the Lost Boys? And Smee the Pirate who
wonders what happened to the pirate crew and the mischievous Tinker Bell who has a
crush on anyone that can fly through Never, Never Land.
. .PRELUDE TO PRIDE: PETER PANNED stars Matthew McGee,as Captain Hook, Joey
Panek as Peter Pan, Alyssa Goudy as Tinker Bell, Joe Parra as Smee, Jonelle Meyer as
Wendy, Meliss Kenworthy as Mrs Darling and Jerid Fox as Nana/ Crocodile. Emi Stefanov
will accompany the cast at the keyboard. All performers are donating their time and talents
for this production.These two performances will benefit PWA (People with AIDS) programs at
Metropolitan Charities of Pinellas .
Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to
raise awareness, provide assistance, and perpetuate a life of dignity for those affected
and infected by HIV and AIDS.

2015 at American Stage Theatre, 163 3rd St. N. St. Petersburg. Doors open at 7:00pm, curtain
