When you are showing your friends GaYBOR/Ybor City do not miss the Ybor City Visitor Information Center. It is located across the street from MC Film on 8th Ave and 16th Street. Here you find a unique collection of Ybor City History. Books, DVD’s, one of a kind collectable’s.
While there you may find a genuine cigar box or Tampa’s Largest Cigar Box. Hint it contains Tampa Beauties!
There is also a very interesting Free short film about Ybor City. You even get to sit on cigar chairs!!!.

Humane Society of Pinellas
The Humane Society of Pinellas Annual Awards Dinner will be held at Ruth Echerd Hall on Oct 2, 2014. This year there is a competition for 4 local singers to entertain that night. We might be a little bit BIASED but our vote goes to Judy B. Goode!!! Here is here audition video. We think she should win!!! If you agree drop a note to Events@HumanePinellas.org

GaYBOR August Events
- Thursday August 14th – GaYBOR’s Monthly Meeting is this Thursday August 14 at GameTime Ybor from 5pm -7pm (social time from 5-6 with meeting starting at 6; FREE).
- Sunday August 17th – GaYBOR’s Monthly Social Event will be on Sunday August 17th “MarGAYBORita Madness” at Tequilas ($5 donation) from 2pm – 6pm.
- Sunday, August 31st we will be hosting our annual Labor Day Pub Crawl visiting several GaYBOR member businesses in Ybor City($20 at the door or advance tickets available at www.GaYBOR.com)
What is a T-Dance? T-Dances are a fun way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon at a GaYBOR member business while socializing and making new friends among GaYBOR members and supporters. Gaybor has held several of these social events over the past couple of months and we have averaged 100 people at each T-Dance. We always bring a DJ and this is a great chance to meet dozens and dozens of GaYBOR members while supporting one of our GaYBOR member businesses. Our T-Dances and Pub Crawls are a great companion to our meetings – at our monthly meetings we discuss GaYBOR activities, and at the T-Dances and Pub Crawls we socialize over cocktails.
If you want to learn more about GaYBOR and what we do, we invite you to attend one of our events and talk with the GaYBOR Board and the dozens of other supporters who attend our monthly events. As always, we invite EVERYONE to join us – no membership is ever required to attend our events. If you want to join GaYBOR or renew your membership, we can answer all your questions and help you become one of the latest GaYBOR members. Individual Memberships are $35 and Business Memberships are only $75.
Note – our meetings are always free; we request a $5 donation at the door for our T-Dance and the Pub Crawl is $20 (advance tickets available on our website www.GaYBOR.com or you can register at the start of the Pub Crawl).

From California her videos have gone viral and she has appeared on TMZ. When you search on youtube there are many videos about her and her unique way with cooking and words. Here is her “Chicken Recipe” 142,000+ people have viewed this video. We actually would like to try this. Maybe there could be a Auntie Fee Cooking Party!?!?!? WARNING ADULT LANGUAGE

The Sunday Fun Day SHAZAM Parties on Hamburger Mary’s balcony in GaYBOR are always way over the top! On a recent Sunday there was quite the mix of people enjoying the day. On one end was our BFF Brian Chan from the Queen & I Restaurant in St. Petersburg with a gallery of people. Then there were several fun Gay Guys. 3 straight? couples that were bi sexual swingers (Fetish Con was in town).
At a table on the end were 8 people who had just come from Sunday church. So it was a very fun mix of people all eating & drinking S HAZAMS!!! Then in walks a straight cross dresser with his wife. Now I mean this with all due respect…. I was not sure if this was a costume or for real. It turned out it was for real.
He/She was wearing a puffy blue tutu tank top, super wild hair, heavy dark blue eye shadow and a ton of bejangled jewelry. The impromptu walk-in visiting couple were actually really fun pair. They told me that they both drive 18 wheelers for a living. Then tell me that they have their semi parked behind a building on 15th.
Everybody is on their 2nd or 3rd SHAZAM when a Florida afternoon rainstorm breaks out. The groups all squeeze together at the bar during the storm. After the storm is over the trucker couple are arm in arm with one of the straight bi swingers. They announce to the group they are leaving to the truck cab for fun…wink,wink.
OMG About an hour later I was off work and walking to the parking garage. There behind a building on 15th next to railroad tracks was a large semi parked.
On the side of the truck it reads, “QUEEN+ Adam Lambert”
OMG. Did this couple make the truck story up or was it for real???? LOL LOL
