This week the Board of Tampa PRIDE met with Tampa Mayor Jane Castor. Several fun new ideas were discussed for the upcoming March 28-29th Tampa Pride Festival and Diversity Parade. We think your going to love these new ideas. The Mayor was excited to hear about the new partnership between Tampa PRIDE and the Cuban Club.

There are so many great restaurants in Ybor City. If you know the specials it’s often cheaper and easier to eat out. One of our favorite lunch spots is “Tony’s Ybor Restaurant”, located at 2001 22nd ST, Ybor City. First pick your meat and then 2 homemade sides with bread. It’s just plain good food!
The who’s who of Tampa can often be spotted here for lunch. This week there was an elderly guy sitting in the booth directly behind us. I heard him say, “He is such a lucky guy now that his wife is dead. Now he can drink beer for breakfast!” LMAO http://www.tonysyborrestaurant.com

You Just Can Not Make This Up
OK I am going to age myself just a little. I met and stared dating Carrie in 1978. It was a time before internet and cell phones. Many guys all carried a small black address book called “Little Black Book.” When you meet someone, you would write down NAME & phone number in this book. If not in this book we would write it down on the back of a matchbook. Many clubs would also give out business cards. These cards would say met at…. Etc. In these books we always wrote in pencil. So….. One day I came across Carrie’s Little Black Book. Hum…. There were guys with stars next to their names. That naughty Carrie was rating how much he liked these guys. I just pulled out a pencil eraser then erased all their stars!!! Then erased my name and re wrote it back in ink with 5 stars!!!! Must have worked 40+ years later I’M STILL 5 STARS!!!! Poor Carrie LMAO
