We all have a Favorite Crazy Great Aunt! One day we were talking with our Great Aunt and said that Jesus and the Disciples probably did not know how to read and write. They communicated thru stories in that time. Auntie said “YES he did! He learned how to read and write in Sunday School!!! They wanted him to be Lutheran too but he stayed Catholic.” She was serious…. LMAO LMAO Then this week we were at the convenience store. Our friend John was behind the counter. He was telling the guy in front of us that in England today is Boxing Day. It starts the day after Christmas and everyone exchanges gifts. The holiday goes on for 12 day. The guy behind us said No that sounds like a Jewish Holiday. John said no but you know Jesus was a Jew. The guy then said “NO HE WAS A BAPTIST!!!” LOL LOL The Holidays WOW

For many years Pach’s was located on Bayshore Blvd. The several years ago they moved into the Tahitian Inn at 601 S. Dale Mabry. Famous for their breakfast and smiles. This week we stopped in and to our surprise over ½ the restaurant was from Ybor City. La France owner, Reservoir Bar Manager, Dan Snow & date and even a Drag Diva out of drag! New Ybor City Dog Park
The Barrio Latino Commission approved the development of one of the first dog parks in Ybor City this week! Planned for the corner of 18th Street and 4th Avenue, fundraising is now underway for this awesome new amenity for Ybor residents and visitors.

In 1980 a ticket to Busch Gardens cost $9.35 and a Season pass was $25. We were poor starving USF kids then. After several weeks of saving, we purchased our season pass. At the Busch gardens Hospitality House, you could get 3 samples of free beer. Walk a little and come back after shift changes and get 3 more LMAO!!! What a deal for college kids. We would go at least 2 times a month some times more. Over the years going to Busch Gardens was like going back home. Some things change while other things remain the same. Fast forward 40 years later and we have the Covid Christmas. Several friends told us how safe it was, so we decided to give it a try. Our group traveled in separate cars. From the time you step on the trams the park did an incredible job. There was social distancing, everyone had a mask on and hand sanitizer stations everywhere. The enclosed entertainment areas and some rides were closed. That was OK. It was so much fun strolling thru the park and saying hi to our favorite animals. We found a Gay Pride display in a store. Had a photo taken with Rudolph The Reindeer and so much more. With all our memories it truly was like going home for the holidays. Thank You Busch Gardens for being so responsible.

During this time the party was moved next doors to Tangra Lounge. This next Sunday 12-27-20 will be the last time at Tangra on the Roof Top. Doors open at 12noon, SHOW TIME 2pm. See you all there! Do you remember your worst Holiday Gift EVER??? I do!!! We were together about 6 years when Carrie gave me the worst gift ever. He truly though that his gift to me was very nice. Carrie gave me a book, titled “How to clean your house”. WTF Really??? I said is this a joke? Carrie said no it has some good ideas. I said well I going to start cleaning right now and tossed it into the fireplace. The next day I called a cleaning service.
