Reminder: public special committee meeting tomorrow, July 6, at 11:00a at 2015 E 7th Ave in Ybor. The YCDC is attempting to draft a position, so be there and be heard!

The YCDC Board has NOT made a decision in regards to the Ybor City wondering chicken population after reporting last week that it had and was told by some residents involved that they were deeply concerned.
An open discussion is set for Fri, July 6th at 11am in the YCDC Offices on 7th Ave. Then the matter will go to Tampa City Council on July 12th.
It is a mixed Ybor City population opinion, positive and negative about the clucking birds all around the cigar district to be removed, left alone or other ways of maybe how to reduce the population.
Anyone can voice their opinions on how to move forward with the 89 chickens in Ybor City at the Friday Special Meeting.

Our event this year is benefitting EPIC (Empath Partners In Care) and bringing awareness to the organization and services that they provide to help build healthier and stronger communities that have been affected by HIV / AIDS related cases within our area. This event will introduce services and themes of EPIC where we will empower and embrace the idea of diversity though a culture of creativity and values based around EPIC as well as Balance Tampa Bay.
