Dishing with Mark and Carrie…The Space

The Space
This last weekend was the last of the 2 week performances of “The Laramie Project”, held at the new West Tampa venue, The Space. A reaction of Laramie community residents interviews by a theater group coming to in the Laramie, Wyoming. Community leaders, media and residents fueled their beliefs of  the savage beating/murder of gay University of Wyoming student, Matthew Shepard on October 6, 1998.
The Space have an opportunity to redesign a theater stage for any setting or performance. They have a very nice bar within the space. Arched wooded doorways entrances, wood pieced board walls really accent the open space.
Their mission for the new venue is simple. Not to set any boundaries is to be a cultural force for the Tampa Bay community art scene. Advocating for a diverse voice in genre and new artists expression.
Both original, independent writings plus written published works are on the venue for consideration. This newly opened alternative theatre and theatre groups is a great added art event facility that we can all cheer.

Ancestry.com
One of the most interesting a fun thing we have done is to start a family ancestry search on www.Ancestry.com over the years we have re connected with our families in Europe and learned so many interesting things. A friend of ours in St. Paul Minnesota, who is a member of the Romania Genealogy Society recently was in our home town in Romania. Here she took photos in the cemetery and shared them with us.
