On July 2,2023 across the nation was the “We The People National March.” AHF (AIDS Health Foundation) organized the march. Tampa Pride partnered with AHF in the Florida march that was held in Ft. Lauderdale. In this march where over 55 organizations from across Florida came together for human rights. Congratulations to AHF on the success of this march.

This week the Tampa Pride Foundation gave out 10 scholarships to students in the Tampa Bay area. Each scholarship was $1,500. The event was hosted at the Hampton Inn and Suites Ybor City. The Tampa Pride Foundation advisory board spent many hours going over the applications. On the Advisory board were; Carrie West, Howard Grater, Dereck Durum, Kevin Keegan, Mark West, Dr. Shawn Roinson, Jim Burett, Johnny Negron Valentino, Eduardo Negron, Anthony Marinelli, Honorable Kevin Beckner, Gil Sainz, Debbie Ducko, Nicole Taylor Monte, Victoria (Tori) Grasso. The Scholarship Advisory Board is looking forward to more scholarships in 2024.
