Come early & stay late.  The Happy Hour kicks off at 4PM. Join the crowds for a Great Time. Drag Show, Strip Contests at night. Shows are at 11:30 & 1 AM. The shows are hosted by Miss Joey Brooks, the First Lady of Ybor City! There is also an event room at Bradley’s on 7th. This room is perfect for large & small receptions. On this past Saturday, the Suncoast Softball League held their big summer event here. It was catered by www.WOWonaPlatter.com  . Here is our favorite tip about Bradley’s. Just 10 feet from their front door is New York New York Pizza!!! On your way into Bradley’s stop here & pick up a slice! Then take it into Bradley’s to have with your beer!! It’s Steamy HOT Fun! With Billboard Reporting  CJ/DJ’s, the best sound & light show in Tampa Bay, All the Hottest Party People and that’s just for starters. Steam Fridays actually has a full time set decorator, Mathieu Stanoch on staff. You just never know where the club will be taking you! Last Thursday we headed out to the buzzing beat sounds at the Ybor Social Club!!!  The line was long. It was just plain FUN, FUN, FUN!!!! Famous for College Night the crowd is a mix with people who just want to have FUN!!! Upstairs DJ Charles was making the walls bounce and the newly added video wall dazzle. In the basement is the bar we nicked named “That 70’s Club” once there you will understand! This night was a guest DJ spinning the music sets. Give bartenders CJ and Vinny a kiss from us.

G.BAR

Every week there is something new & exciting at G.BAR. This week besides al the HOT Dancers, Great Music & Drink Special, we found something else. G.BAR’s #1 VJ Greg Anderson has this wonderful sense of humor!!!  Mixed in with the videos was a video of baby kittens wrestling.  It might have been because of the drinks but we all were watching for 20 minutes & couldn’t stop laughing!!!! The new addition of seating area, built up Victorian wall papered walls and the beautifully adorned chandeliers add a lot of charm and intimacy when you want to just talk to that someone special. One Year Anniversary for The Bricks

When we heard it was The Bricks… One Year Anniversary we both said this is a party not to be missed! As we approached The Bricks it was like the motorcycle scene from Rocky Horror. Instead of motorcycles a group of 20+ arrived in percussion on skate boards!  Each one stop just short of the door then kicked their boards up and under their arms as they entered. Inside was an eclectic group of cool people. All ages and all types having a great time together. World travelers Jenna and husband Ryan and business partner, Bryan toasted the success of their new indiscriminate named restaurant’s clientelle. Out back was a BBQ and to our surprise a skate board ramp! To say we were impressed by the skate boarders showing off their talents, is an understatement! These kids were GREAT!!!  What a good time & congratulations to your 1 year anniversary. We are looking forward to many more!!!

We have said it before and will say it again Thursday Nights in GaYBOR are the New Friday Nights! There are Happy Hour Specials at Bradley’s on 7th & Liquid Lounge starting at 5PM. Hamburger Mary’s has a show at 8PM. Centro Canteen has live music. JJ’s has a music contest every Thursday.  MC Film is open until 11 pm. The Social host their College Night. Both Social & Bradley’s have amateur strip contests. All this and this Thursday night will be a Special FREE Red Bull Concert at the Amphitheater.

The luxury Queen’s Gardens Resort on the island of Saba is giving gay couples who marry in New York City a free night. Courtesy of Queen’s Gardens Resort A resort on the tiny island of Saba, whose tourist board dubs it the “Unspoiled Queen” of the Caribbean is hoping to cash in on the gay honeymoon business when New York legalizes gay marriage. And the way it’s doing it is by offering a wedding present in the form of a free night.
Lots of destinations and hotels have pitched themselves as perfect honeymoon spots for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender couples. But Saba’s Queen’s Gardens Resort is pulling out all the stops.

NYC Hopes For Tourist Inreases from Gay Marriage Law
“Queen of New York Hearts” honeymoon special offers a free night and a free breakfast in bed at the luxury resort to any newlyweds with a New York marriage certificate. The offer is valid through Dec. 15, and certificates must be dated on or after July 24, when the new marriage law is scheduled to take effect. And a couple must stay at least four nights.
No discrimination here: Hetero newlyweds are welcome, too.
Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Sun and Associated Press recently reported that Sin City’s Convention and Visitors Authority is looking into whether it will market itself as a gay honeymoon destination.
