Winner of 1st Annual Bradley's on 7th Chili Cook Off

8 contestants battled it out for a bar tab & bragging rights to “The Bradley’s 1st Annual Chili Cook Off” at Bradley’s on 7th last Sunday. The judging was done by ballot from all the guests there. The winner is Mark & Carrie with their unusual, “White Asian Chili Recipe”, an original creation by Mark. The heat is really turned on now as the Winner of Bradley’s will now go on to compete in the Legendary City Side Lounge Chili Cook Off next spring for a charity!  The winner received a bar tab that was quickly used up by treating everybody to a shot. Bradley’s on 7th has become such a GaYBOR institution so fast that it’s hard to believe they are only celebrating their 8th month Anniversary this week!

Jack Shiver
In 1998 Jack & his family took on the task of renovation the Don Vicente Inn de Ybor. Jack is known as Mr. Ybor after receiving the “Ybor Man of the Year Award “ in 2002. He has renovated over 14 of the historic Ybor City Buildings. Today the hotel it’s one of the Crown Jewels of Ybor City. Proud members of GaYBOR, the Shiver family have hosted GaYBOR meeting and events for many members. Jack & his family always makes you feel welcome and at home at the Don Vicente! As Walt Disney said, ” When you wish upon a star… makes no difference who you are”
