There was a famous lesbian couple in Tampa. They were also very good friends of ours. Bobbie & Kay were a fun loving couple and inspiration to us all. With a crazy fun and sometimes naughty sense of humor. Here was a book Bobbie gave us years ago. Every time Bobbie would show this book she would have everybody Laughing Hysterically!!!! We can hear Bobbie laughing while Miss Kay says “Oh Bobbie your so naughty!!!” Caution this is X Rated??? LOL LOL
You Can Not Make this Up.
Two hot designer clothed guys in their 30’s walked up to the patio bar. OK this sounds like a beginning to a great old joke.The first guy says to me “Don’t you think my boyfriend is HOT!” I just smiled and said, “your both HOT!”
Then this taller gent actually says to me and 7 other nearby bar customers ears… “I just met him on line at Easy Bottoms.com!” I gave him my fake laugh, high brow and thought, “WOW the things total strangers tell bartenders”. Then the second guy over hears and says, ” For a first date it is not going well. Actually I think its over.” He then walks out.
The first guy says to me “What an impersonal bitch, I’m glad this didn’t go any farther.”
OMG…I smiled and said, ” Would you like a double? “

Welcome Home, Special Serviceman Leo!!!
We were surprised and happy to see Leo at the clubs Sunday night in GaYBOR/ Ybor City. He is returning from over a year and a half hitch in Afghanistan and arrived just hours before. Smiling and teary eyed getting a chance to receive well deserved hugs, reunite with old friends and be on safe American soil again.
Leo has been a pt bartender in GaYBOR/ Ybor City at a couple of locations. He is finishing up his medical schooling degree at USF.
We all want to Welcome Back to our fighting forces cadet, future medical school student & pharmacist, Leo.

We had to make a road trip to the newly opened gay club in St. Pete, Enigma! Owner, Ed G. greeted us and told of the planned clubs Grand Opening on June 12th. The fresh paint smelling club is very airy with 2 large bars and a dance floor. Workers were still working on projects while we were there. Unique is that the bar has an open bar street window for outside cafe style enjoyment. A lot of the old familiar faces from Georgie’s are now working at Enigmas. We saw a lot of old friends and familiar faces at the club. Located on Central Ave at 10th Street.
Just down the street is the future Metro Wellness LGBT Welcome Center on Central Ave. Recently 30 Volunteers of Balance Tampa Bay turned out to help with the renovations of the new center and gave a outstanding large $7000 check to the new GLBT Youth and Welcome Center. Stop by during St. Pete Pride for a tour of one of the very few GLBT Welcome Centers in the country. We gave our financial support to this historical and monumental center. Congrats as we welcome the Grand Opening.
The Pour House in Channelside had a great sausage Thursday night with a variety of homemade brats! I being a Wisconsin Boy love brats. The Tampa Bay Sausage Laboratory Company will be at Pour Hous on Thursdays. Check out the 30 types of beer on draft at Pour Hous located on the first floor of Kennedy Grand condos.

GaYBOR District Coalition picks its 3rd new President. The newly reigned head honcho assignment went to Michael ‘Sheriff’ Wilson. A realignment of officers on the expanding GLBTA Business Coalition is moving along smoothly. Other officers are Brian “Prada” Betz as Secretary, Walter Pinilos – Treasurer, Jayme Kosar Events/Membership and Geeky Gal – Social Media.
