There will be 40,000+ fans all dressed up in their favorite comic character and ready to show off their super powers! Last year a record 44,000+ attendees packed the  Convention Center.

    This year a hot ticket of actors and actresses including Lea Thompson from “Back to the Future”, Carrie Fisher from “Star Wars”, Jessica Hewick and Keisha Castle-Hughes from “Game of Thrones” and Jena Malone from “The Hunger Games” to name a few.

    Located at 2920 Beneva Roas in Sarasota, FL. The Purple Rhino is a non-profit organization providing a place for fellowship to the LGBT Community and their Supporters.  On Saturday, Aug 26 there will be a very special fundraiser there. The Purple Rhino, the Gay Community Organization in Sarasota for the Gay Community has been designated their charitable status now by the IRS (501c3.) To help them Chuck and I are going to host a special Saturday evening and night where we are going to be hosts and bartenders. 100% of all proceeds are going to the new 501c3.
We are organizing some of our friends (including some famous ones smile emoticon )to help organize dinner and food specials, entertainment surprises, auction, DJ dance and other fun activities. We are supporting the Sarasota Gay Community and help raise money for Purple Rhino to expand their services to help our community with a home and other charitable organizations related to children, bullying, HIV, Sarasota Pride and much more.
And let’s face it… when do you EVER have the opportunity to have Chuck and I serve you a drink? And more! We think it is going to be a lot of fun. We hope you join us!

    This was one of those films that we wanted to see on the big screen but just didn’t make it there. Lucky for us it is on cable this month. This is a “Must See” film! It was so realistic and showed the connection of today with the past. Remember that millions of LGBT people were also killed along with Catholics, gypsy’s and handicapped.

Metro was the first LGBT organization to offer HIV case management in Tampa Bay. Now they are pleased to announce the area’s first-ever primary care practice by and for the LGBT community. METRO Primary Care continues the tradition of serving our community’s haelth and wellness needs for over 20 years.

Today gay travel specialist ALandCHUCK.travel announced the first gay cruise in history to the US embargoed island of Cuba. Cuba is emerging from a near 60 year embargo and is the most mysterious destination in the world for gay travelers. In December 2014 when the US Government loosened some restrictions for travel to Cuba, the People To People program expanded for Americans travel to the island. The Gay Cruise will operate three sailings in winter 2016 including January 15, February 26 and April 8. The 8 day / 7 night cruise will be hosted by ALandCHUCK.travel on board GAY Cuban staff that include cruise managers that have worked for Cuban Ministry of Tourism, graduates of University of Havana, and graduates of University of Pinar Del Rio Law School.
