Dishing with Mark & Carrie 8-5-15
Our goal is to shoot in Dallas, Texas this summer with his amazing Sordid Lives actors!
By joining this event, you have become a Sordid Supporter! We ask that you share the event, so the momentum will continue and grow. Share it with other Sordid Lives fans and is it spreads far and wide, we know we will find those people with the enthusiasm, financial ability and passion for the message of equality to help all of us make this a reality. By simply joining, sharing and loudly saying “I am a Sordid Supporter” you are a part of making this film happen!
Right now our budget is in place, our legal ducks are in a row and we simply need to secure more investors to green light the picture.
We have investors on board with OVER 1/2 of the budget we need to green light the film and feel very positive as more and more interest is expressed. ($25K is the minimum investment opportunity.)
A investor package can be requested by emailing:
delshores@me.com.
We will update this event with news, pictures and fun Sordid tidbits along the way. Thanks for being a Sordid Supporter!

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Sordid Lives hit the big screen in 2000 and became a huge cult hit phenomenon with its hilarious and authentic exploration of the antics of the residents of Winters, TX. The film was followed by Sordid Lives: The Series, a prequel for LOGO. Now, after years of fans asking for a follow up with these beloved characters, Del Shores has written a sequel, the final chapter in the Sordid Lives saga – A Very Sordid Wedding.
The original film explored the coming out story and how conservative southern families deal with gay family members. The sequel picks up 16 years later and continues the comedic exploration of important issues by addressing marriage equality. The characters audiences fell so in love with have all moved forward to new places, some good, some ridiculous, and as always with this colorful cast – always entertaining.
Del Shores has spent this entire year writing the new script, bringing back all of these beloved characters and carefully shaping what they are each up to after so many years. The story is once again hilarious, touching and addressing an issue affecting LGBT people and their communities and families with Del’s trademark subversive humor and heart.
