TRowe Price LGBT Fair
Starting just a year ago, this corporate financial giant has embraced diversity and community identity with on corp. campus festivals and fairs including Hispanic Awareness and LGBT Fair. TRowe Price is setting a great corporate strategy and example for other big corporations to follow. The now annual company event have employees participate in local community activities and participation in including Tampa Bay International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, St. Pete Pride and Tampa Pride.
The Awareness Fair held this past week had a wide variety of Tampa Bay LGBTA organizations showcasing and educating the hundreds of employees at the Tampa TRowe Price corporate offices next to International Mall. The TRowe Price Diversity Team had an outreach day for all of the employees to take part in. Most took advantage of the daytime event.
“This is a major teaching tool for all of our employees to get educated on the Tampa Bay community.” said a financial manager at the fair.
Attending area organizations included Equality Florida, Tampa Bay Diversity Council, Metro Wellness, PFLAG, Suncoast Softball League, GLSEN, St. Pete Pride, TIGLFF, Tampa Pride and Caldwell Capital.
Kudos to this major financial institution sharing company vision of inclusiveness and diversity in Tampa Bay. We hope other area businesses follow suit,
