Jane Fonda once said “You can be OLD at 60 or YOUNG at 85, It’s up to you.” This is so true. For years we have been telling all our friends and family to start taking the vitamin Milk Thistle. It helps grow and improve the liver. This in return keeps your blood cleaner. All our friends take this now. The next vitamin we all must take is Magnesium. The active ingredient in many pain and join medications is Magnesium. For us it literary makes us feel 10-20 years younger. We are not medical doctors. These are just 2 vitamins that we take every day. Give these two vitamins a try and see how you feel.

2022 USF Bulls Block Party THIS SATURDAY in Ybor City
We all have a favorite Crazy Great Aunt. Our great Aunt, who just turned 90, recently purchased a very small electric car. She was laughing about how small the car was. One day she picked up 3, 80- to 95-year-old girlfriends and headed off to a favorite park. The park has a fun hiking trail. Suddenly she had an idea!!!! Let drive the car down the hiking trails. The 4 ladies started to drive down the gravel trail. Politely (ya right??) asking people to get out of their way!!!! They were almost all the way thru the trail when the car got stuck on a small wooden bridge. She called for help and out came the park rangers. The rangers scolded the ladies not to drive on the trail again. Then started to laugh and said they all look like their Grand Mothers. Our naughty Aunts, Of course then invite the rangers for cocktails. LMAO

Tony’s Restaurant Ybor City
After 93 years Tony’s in Ybor City will be closing. The Scaglione Family owned several restaurants in Tampa. In 1980 Mark worked for the family at the University Restaurant on Fowler Ave never USF. In 2007 We visited the Ybor City location. Mr. Scaglione was working behind the counter. We told him it was good to see him again. He laughed and said “You have gotten old.” LMAO
Carrie went home to visit family in Wisconsin. Arriving back home in Ybor City I carried has suitcase into the house. I remarked it was very heavy!!! When I opened it up it was filled with Wisconsin cheese!!!! Then I noticed there were no clothes in the suitcase. I asked where are your clothes Carrie????? With a big smile Carrie said I had the clothes shipped home to make more room for the cheese.
You WON’T want to miss Pride On The River. The volunteers are working overtime to make the event bigger and better! If you have a boat, register online to be in the parade. Sat 9/24
Hi Carrie, My name is Heather Culligan and I work with Brian Buttafuoco at the Tampa Bay History Center. I work as the Curator of Collections and am responsible for managing the museum collection. I’m contacting you because I mentioned to Brian that I’d love to add Pride artifacts to the collection and he gave me your contact information! Our collection currently does not hold a lot of items that tell the Pride story. I’m wondering if you have anything that you would be willing to donate to TBHC. Items could include brochures, pamphlets, photographs, documents, t-shirts – really anything that tells the story of Pride in Tampa.
Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Heather Culligan | Curator of Collections
