Old windows, doors, mirrors,antiques, industrial pieces and cabinets with thousands of hardware are now in chic and these specialty warehouses can get you most anything old that you may dream of.
There are a lot of these filled industrial and antique housed warehouses in Tampa Bay to visit. Schiller’s Architectural Salvage in West Tampa, Tampa Bay Salvage in Tarpon Springs, Ferg’s Phase 2 Architectural Salvage in St. Pete, Architectural Salvage and Re-Purposed Furniture in Largo, Circus City Salvage in Sarasota and the Wood Window Makeover in West Tampa.
All the door fixtures, reclaimed wood, industrial salvage and house hold antiques add a spotlight piece to your condo or home. A great place to explore your inner selfs talents on antique projects that you may have seen on TV or in magazines.
Mark & Carrie have gone to a number of salvage warehouses in search of the unknown. The ideas of an old plantation fixer upper to be re-stored back to its luster in East Tampa’s Gary Town is on going. The Rainbow Plantation as we have called it in Gary Town has great historical significance. From the torn down Hillsborough County Court House Circuit Court pillars, outside of court house buildings large stain glass windows, wooden stairwell and so much more.

This small central Florida Beach City has a picturesque view of the Gulf of Mexico. The “Scottish settlement” have a great diversity in art and culture. The Annual Scottish Highland Games in spring draws thousands for the bagpipers and competitive athletics. The art is abundant and promoted on the city’s outdoor areas and along the old railroad tracks and famed 3,500 artifacts at the Dunedin History Museum.
Two great famous beaches are the Caladesi Island and Honeymoon Island beaches in Dunedin. Both are in the “Best Beaches in America” according to “Dr Beach” and Caladesi Island, is only a short boat ride away, was Voted #1 Beach in America.
But now is the time to take a ride and explore by walking the beautiful 4 mile waterfront, tropical parks and extended marina. Great restaurants are throughout the tropical historic monumental city.

Back in college days we all worked several jobs. One of my jobs was working the 3rd, night shift at a convenience store. It was the 3rd shifts responsibility to clean the store. Our mean old butch manager was so cheap. She would have us take soap and cleaning supplies from the bottles on the shelf then replace with water. The bottles were then put pack on the shelves for sale. Now to the good part…. Every morning she would come in and complain the store was not clean enough. Then one night I got the idea to take some pine-sol off the shelved and put some into the air conditioner filter. The next day for the first time ever she said how clean the store looked!!! I worked there there for a year more. She always said nobody cleaned as good as me!!! LOL Try this trick at home on your partner and see what happens!!!!! LMAO
