Tampa Pride is thrilled to share with you the news that we have a truly remarkable individual as our Special DISTINGUISHED GRAND MARSHAL for the upcoming Diversity Parade on March 29, 2025. Our honoree is none other than Stuart Milk, who, like his uncle, the late Harvey Milk, has dedicated his life to advocating for the LGBTQIA community. Stuart is not only an activist in his own right but also the co-founder of the Harvey Milk Foundation, continuing the legacy of his beloved uncle. We are beyond proud to having Stuart Milk in our parade and spreading a message of love, acceptance, and equality.

This tale of impossible love wasn’t just fantasy; it reflected Tchaikovsky’s own reality of loving in the shadows of 1870s Russia. In his private diaries, Tchaikovsky poured out his deepest feelings, forbidden desires, and the constant fear of discovery. All of this raw emotion found its way into Swan Lake’s sweeping, heartbreaking melodies.
