SNOW on 7th
This annual parade was a huge HIT again this year with he young and young at heart. The bands were lining up on 9th and 8th Ave. At the Ybor City State Museum http://www.ybormuseum.org/ , located on 9th Ave, there was a wedding going on. Much ti the delight of the wedding couple…. One of the bands marched over to the fence and played the couple a song. Now that’s a wedding YBOR CITY STYLE!!!!
You Just Can Not make This Up
We have a good friend who is quite the hoot!!! He is semi retired and speaks Japanese. A Japanese tour group hired him to drive the tour bus part time in Tampa. When driving the bus, some times the guides ask him to give small impromptu tours to stall for time…… One day we were at home when we heard a bus stop out front of our home and blow its horn. We walked out side and there was his tour bus full of Japanese tourist all waving and talking photos. Our friend told the people this was the home of the famous Mark & Carrie. Lets blow the horn and see if they are home today!!!!! Thank goodness Carrie was not walking around the home in his underwear that day! LMAO
