Elmhurst College, a private liberal arts school in suburban Chicago affiliated with the United Church of Christ, has become the first collegeSordid Lives in the country to ask an optional question about a student’s sexual orientation and gender identity on an undergraduate admission form, according to the school and a gay rights advocacy group.

Taxpayer Money Used In Same-Sex Marriage Fight

Federal government grant money awarded to a social conservative group to provide marriage counseling in Iowa also helped pay some of its operational expenses while it was leading an anti-same-sex marriage campaign, newly released documents show.
The documents reviewed by The Associated Press show the $2.2 million received by the Iowa Family Policy Center between 2006 and 2010 helped hundreds of Iowans get marriage education and counseling. www.BigGayNews.com

Mama (of San Fran) gives BIRTH in Ybor!

p8280022

Mama’s Family has seen the Birth of Two New Babies this past weekend in Ybor!
Our own Nikki Ternon of the Chelsea Nightclub and Rob Shelly a ‘desiring “Sister of Perpetual Indulgence”‘ were pinned into the Family by boy kirk along with his Big Brother Matt, both of whom are
current Family members.

To be pinned into the Family is to show ones love, devotion and at times sacrifice to the COMMUNITY regardless of self serving ideologies…it is service for the good of ALL without question.
Mama, “Sandy Reinheart” is an original Tampa native, now living in San Francisco.

as always in service,

Times are tough…
i’ve heard that a lot, even live it myself to some degree…
when i find myself passing by someone who is homeless, or hungry, i
might avert my eyes for a moment…
but i find something in my heart stronger, telling me to help, offer
what i can…
it might not be much but it does give some hope, even if it is for a
drink for that individual…
it lets them know someone cares, even if for a short moment…
Well, i will  let you know the Car-Fund Drive for Mama is still going
and folks are sending in what they can, little or large, it shows
someone cares…
and i believe the community that Mama cares for, cares for her…
and i thank you all for that 🙂

Some have said that i should use PayPal, well for me to do this and to
keep accurate records, by sending either cash directly or a check does
make it easier for me…i am keeping all correspondence to maintain
full accountability…
So please, when your heart moves you to send what you can, send it to:

kirk schwartz
3135 Charter Club Dr
Unit #E
Tarpon Springs, Fl 34688

okay too…what everyone can do, is to send this to everyone they know
who is in Mama’s Family or knows Her and wishes to possibly help…i
don’t have everyone’s email addie.>

So, as Mama’s would say…
~Ask yourself” what can I do to make a difference” then do it
from your heart~

as always in service,
boy kirk

Dishing with Mark & Carrie 8-24-11

Mark & Carrie’s photo on the front page of the Tampa Tribune 8-20-11
Saturday we had our photo on the front page of the Tampa Tribune. Interesting one article says 40% & the other says 60% ????  Both in TBO & both the same article? The photo & the photo description also changed? The 40% photo was on the paper Saturday morning. The 60% was online and was changed at 11:08 AM. After 100’s of comments, both good & bad, the Tribune closed the comments sections.
