A BIG Shout Out to Dr. Seth M. Lott, D.C. (our nephew) and staff for taking such great care of Carrie. With their care Carrie made a speedy recovery from 4 + months of Belles Palsy. Dr Seth’s specialty areas are Acupuncture, Chiropractor, Pain Relief, Back Alignments, and Active Rehab treatments from disease, accidents or surgical treatments.
We have known Dr. Seth for 23 years going to University of South Florida and getting to be besties with our niece, Natalie. Thus, an extended nephew & nieces with 650 others. Mark & I as uncles knew how to get to the kids hearts as we fixed big comfort food dinners for the dorm kids.

I was very lucky to Barend with one of the most beautiful real women in Ybor City, who was blessed with rather large chest. Not only beautiful but very flighty and fun. One day there were 2 straight guys, from some small town up north, giving us a hard time. Finally, she had enough and said “OK, just stop it guys or do we have to pull out our dicks and see who’s is the biggest? I’m ready and I know I will win!” They looked at me and I said “That’s why we call HIM Daddy” They guys looked like dear in headlight. Sat down ad didn’t give us anymore trouble. LMAO

In the bar business you either have Great bar backs or the opposite. I was working in a very Gay Friendly Club. The new bar back asked me what my cologne was. I told him and he said “That’s what I thought. My Dad wears that.” LMAO RUDE… I said Great then you can call me Daddy. He had a I don’t understand look on his face and didn’t come back the next day. LMAO

DJ Mike Sklarz with Tea Cup & April behind the bar. Making sure everything went smoothly was Corey Kane & Daniel Lee. The big opening production included New Costumes made by Frey Rose Young. The Ending of a legend
The World-Famous Club Manila-Patron https://www.facebook.com/Club-Manilla-350205898323389/?rf=103311396403477 was torn down this week in Ybor City. Located at 2620 E. 7th Ave. in Ybor City. This was one of the largest and very popular African American Clubs in Tampa. It closed about 6 or 7 years ago. We remember all the energy and fun people here. The walls were very 1970 and all mirrored. Disco lights flashing and loud music. They always had the best food buffet in Ybor. There are so many crazy stories from here. Most of them are true LOL. One that we remember was….There were code violations inside the club. When the inspectors showed up, the owners chained the front doors shut. The fire department came to cut the chains. The Club might be gone the memories will go on forever.
The Parrott Lakeland
Florida’s Oldest Gay Bar, “The Parrott” is located 1030 E Main St Lakeland, FL. The club has gone thru some wonderful renovations recently and is looking better than ever. One thing that they didn’t change is….. The Second OLDEST Bartender (Tea Cup is the Oldest) in The Universe, Mike Burdette is still there!!!! OBITUARY
Glen White (aka Glenda)
Glenn H. White, lifelong Tampa resident, passed away today 1-7-2021. He had a great smile and humor all about him. He was a friend to many. He was an architect and worked with a number of Tampa Bay architect firms and also ending his career with the Tampa International Airport. He always had many stories to tell. Growing up with 2 Mom’s when it wasn’t popular. He was also double jointed in his hands and amazed many with his tricks. He personally met Elvis Pressley in the 1950’ at the downtown Floridan Hotel after one of his Tampa Concerts. 20+ years ago Glenn was the selected Queen of the old Tampa Pride along with Jack Sarver as the Pride King.
