Carrie grew up on a very large Wisconsin Dairy Farm. The property was surrounded by Uncles and more family properties. There were beautiful pastures surrounding the home. Rolling meadows, trees and ponds. 20+ years ago his parents passed. The house was rented and later removed. Recently the property was developed into 120+ homes, with more on the way. One of Carrie’s Sisters moved back to the old family homestead. Her unit faces the front road. Can you imagine the strange feeling to wake up and look outside? There you see the tress that were in your front yard where you grew up. Across the road is your Uncle’s home. Tons of great memories flooding in. Who say you can not go home again?

Hello Everyone, wanted to post an update on everything. We are lucky enough to have a second location ‘Muscle Cut’(inside powerhouse gym) and thankfully Tribeca Salon in Centro Ybor has generously opened their space to share with us and is providing five chairs for us to use to be able to service our clients and community.
I will be working at Tribeca for all the days I normally work in Ybor and even an extra day, I will be working my normal hours on Thursday at muscle cut, if you already have an appointment in Ybor you will just have to come a few blocks over to Tribeca salon, if I need to reschedule your appointment I’ll text you

We are currently searching for a new location to work out of while our home is being rebuilt and will update you all as we finalize any future moves. We are hoping to be in a temporary location by next month depending on how long we have to wait on the insurance (we have insurance!!). We want to thank all who have reached out and wanted to lend a helping hand as well reached out for fundraisers to help us all get back on our feet. With that being said we are going to set up a go fund me, to help with replacing crucial working tools as most of our barbers had extreme smoke and heat damage to their tools, and we want to be able to give them a break on booth rent for some time. We also still will need to pay rent during this time so we will be using the go fund me to help out and float us temporarily with the additional funds since we are giving our team of barbers a break.
Thank you ALL again for your words of support, your lending of helping hands, offers, and services to help our YCBC team get back on their feet, the response from our community has been truly overwhelming. We ask that you take the time to come see us for a service, purchase a gift card from your favorite barber, or just simply keep us in your thoughts! Also stay tuned for any fundraising events!
From Facebook…. I got a message at 10p last night. Someone illegally and immorally abandoned 3 beautiful girls on 7th Avenue after dark. A sharp eye and prompt communication from @piercingbytori probably saved their lives, because Sunday nights are pretty active in Ybor, and they were right next to the street.
The girls were disoriented and scared, and it seemed they hadn’t had much food or water yesterday. What disgusting humans they had.
They’re safe now, and we’ll be evaluating them for a couple days before they go to their new home 🖤🤍❤️
