Hello Mark and Carrie,

Happy 2024.  I wanted to send along my new music video “Safe Spaces” which features a special cameo from one of our own beloved – Mama Carol Steen aka Sister Spitorswallow.

So often Florida is portrayed in the news in a negative light – and sometimes rightfully so – but I wanted to make a music video showing how much love, heart, and diversity we have in our community.  We are here, we are strong, and we love our community and each other.  No politician or hateful word can take that away from us.  As an LGBTQ singer/songwriter I take a lot of pride in our community and in this city.  I wanted to make something a little special and positive to lead us into 2024.

Thanks for all you do for our community.  I hope you like the video and please share it if you feel inclined.

 This is an opportunity to nominate an individual who has displayed exceptional leadership qualities and has made significant contributions to the LGBTQ+ community in Tampa.

2) Recognized Community Leader:  a community leader in the Tampa area who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and dedication to advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and creating a more inclusive community.

3) Recognized Community Business: This category allows you to nominate a business that has consistently supported and uplifted the LGBTQ+ community in Tampa.

4)Trailblazer:

This category recognizes an individual or group who has pioneered new ideas, initiatives, or movements that have significantly impacted the LGBTQ+ community in Tampa.

5) Grand Couple:

This category celebrates LGBTQ+ couples who exemplify love, unity, and resilience. If you know a couple whose relationship serves as a positive inspiration to others, we encourage you to nominate them for this distinction
