LGBT History in Mexico

Mexican LGBTQ activists just made history with the largest human Pride flag ever in Mexico City! 🌈✊ Thousands came together, standing shoulder to shoulder, turning a vision of love, visibility, and solidarity into a breathtaking reality. This isn’t just a flag—it’s a powerful statement: unity is strength, representation matters, and pride is unstoppable. Moments like these show that courage, community, and celebration can move mountains—and inspire the world.

Heated Rivalry

From Gay Culture Geeks
The entire first season of Heated Rivalry was shot in just 36 or 37 days. The show was made for Canadian streamer Crave, which has about 4 million subscribers, on what one writer described as a budget of “about $12 Canadian dollars.” Then the trailer blew up. HBO Max swooped in days before the premiere, making it available in 54 million additional homes. The result? It became HBO Max’s biggest live-action acquisition ever and Crave’s most-watched original series in history. Now both Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams have signed three-season deals, with two seasons already greenlit. Just weeks ago, they were both waiting tables – Connor got fired from a Beverly Hills restaurant over a wine bottle misunderstanding, Hudson was working in Vancouver. Now they’re locked in for potentially years of increasingly explicit hockey romance, attending industry parties at the Chateau Marmont with Baz Luhrmann. It’s the ultimate Hollywood underdog story – two complete unknowns turned into stars by a low-budget Canadian gay hockey show that nobody saw coming.
