February is Black History Month and serves as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Black and African Americans. This Black History Month, you are invited to a brunch featuring six black leaders in the Tampa Bay Area that are paving the way for generations to come. Registration is free for the first 60 registrants, at which point tickets will be $5.00 each. Details on panelists will be released soon.

You Just Can Not Make This Up

On February 3, 2020 and was our 42nd year Anniversary. People ask what’s our secret for saying together so long.  I say vodka and a sense of humor. This week one night I walked into our bedroom. There sitting on the night stand was a fancy jar of strawberry jam. I picked up that jar went downstairs and told Carrie “What every you are thinking the answer is NO!!!” Carrie had a surprised look on his face and asked what are you talking about???? I told him that I was not going to wash strawberry jam out of our sheets! Carrie started to laugh and said he was shopping the clearance table at TJ MAX and thought that was a strawberry candle LMAO!!!! 42 years later and Carrie still keeps me laughing. LOL LOL LOL
