Bud McAfee’s Celebration of Life

Bud always said that at his Celebration of Life he wanted a REAL CELEBRATION. That is just what his husband Jeff Duck did!!! Bud’s family and friends all gathered at Tequila’s for the SUNday FUNday show with Miss Joey Brooks & Tea Cup. Up on the TV’s were fun photos of Bud & Jeff. The music and crowed were all over the top. At the end of the show Miss Brooks asked people to stand up and say some words about Bud. Then the whole cast came out and performed Bud’s favorite song, “It’s Raining Men!!!” The energy in the room was off the scale with everyone stands and singing along. What a Fantastic send of Bud had!!!

32nd Annual City of Tampa Black History Celebration

The City of Tampa Black History Committee, Inc. (COTBHC) would like to invite everyone to our 32nd Annual Black History Celebration on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Tampa Convention Center. Our keynote speaker will be Ersula K. Odom and the theme for this year is “On Common Ground: Your Land, My Land, Our Land”.As always, the event is free and open to all employees and the public. There will be refreshments and local vendors immediately following the celebration.
