Tuesday was the Grand Opening of the new Queen & I Thai Restaurant on Central ave in St. Pete. The new owners Bryan Chant and Don Vanderboegh have been working on the new Thai themed restaurant for almost 1 year. The interior has a hand painted and gem adorned Budha wall by Frank. The line trying to get in was literally out the door with hundreds of special guests already inside. After an hour getaway to one of our favorite St. Pete Vietnamese restaurants, we returned.to barely get in to see the Special Thai Drag Show being performed. A sampling of sushi, Pad Thai, curry dishes, Laos style papaya salad and Thai deserts was on the nights festive buffet. Bunches of Roses were on every table and all around the room for Good Luck!

The new restaurant is located at 2410 Central in the Grand Central District. Open everyday.
