Tampa adds New EVCS… Zoom.. Zoom.. Zoom!
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn unveiled the latest Parking Division initiative – electric vehicle charging stations, 10 in fact. As part of Coulomb Technologies expansion of its $37 million ChargePoint America program into six new U.S. cities, the City of Tampa applied for and received 10 electric vehicle charging stations at no cost to the City. Vehicle owners can access the charging stations in several ways including using a smart phone app that is available at  www.novac harge.net.

(“City”) is finalizing the sale of the remaining five (5) relocated houses in the City’s inventory. The only Open House Event will be held on Wednesday 10/19/2011 from 10:00a.m. until 12:00 noon and this may be your final opportunity to purchase a historic house from the City for what is deemed the Best price. The houses that will be available for viewing on Wednesday 10/19/2011 are located within the Tampa Heights Local Historic District or Ybor City Local Historic District at 603 East Amelia, 2915 North Jefferson Street, 1018 East Columbus Drive, 2609 North 17th Street and 2314 East 12th Avenue. Tampa Police Dept. Memorial Garden Dedication
Dedication Ceremony – TPD Officers Jeff Curtis and David Kocab Memorial Garden, Sat Oct 22, 8:30 am at the Tampa Police Dept District 3 headquarters at 3808 North 22nd Street. Attending will be Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Tampa City Council and city officials. The public is invited to come out and attend..  Community businesses and residents donated time and dollars in the making of the memorial gardens and is at the entrance to the building. The Memorial Garden is in remembrance of the shooting deaths of Tampa Police officers Jeff Curtis and David Kocab at a traffic stop on June 29, 2010.
