The GaYBOR District Coalition’s Friday, January 14th meeting will be filled with hopeful candidates in a forum for City of Tampa Mayor. The very popular Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio can’t run due to term limits. The March 1 election is for both the Tampa Mayor and the Tampa City Council races. A number of the candidates have confirmed their participation in the forum. Running is former Tampa Mayor Dick Greco, Hills. County Commissioner Rose Ferlita, former Tampa Councilman Bob Buckhorn, Tampa Council chair Thomas Scott and former Hills. Cty Commissioner Ed Turanchik. The meeting is open to everyone and is at the newly to be opened Metro Wellness Center on 7th Ave in Ybor City right next to the Hampton Inn.
